Sugarbarre: "The designer was the great Adrian, exclusive designer for MGM. A decision was made for budget reasons not to use color...too bad.
But after this film, MGM backed off of historical epics. Adrian had a wife and children and opened a boutique for his clothes later.
He costumed all the great stars of MGM in his era."
